About Department

                                                           The Department of Commerce started functioning in 1978 with Two UG Programme B.com & M.com. Since its inception, the department is marching forward with more and more strength and enthusiasm with the support of committed teachers and students. We are upholding the rich tradition of Assumption College with flying colours in curricular and co-curricular activities.

The commerce department creates a stimulating environment for the academic growth of its students and provides them with a thorough understanding of a range of subjects such as business organization, financial accounting, Business and Tax Law, economic theory, and business communication. The faculty member of the Department is known for their expertise in finance and organizational behaviour and impart practical knowledge of the discipline of auditing, company law and Income Tax.
